The majority of cats and dogs over the age of three have evidence of periodontal disease. Appropriate oral healthcare can help prevent or delay the negative effects that plaque and tartar have upon not just your pet’s mouth, but their entire systemic health. For some patients, this means developing an at-home oral health treatment plan involving tooth-brushing as well at other dental supplements and diets. For others, we offer routine scaling and polishing, as well as dental radiographs (x-rays). When appropriate, we can also offer surgical extractions and additional oral surgery such as growth removals and biopsies.
